Following his four-try performance in Leicester Storm’s 32-26 win over Gloucestershire Warriors last Saturday, centre Frank Barlow has been praised by head coach Dean Thomas; although the Storm coach stressed that Barlow could have scored more!
“Frank had some time out of the game last year, but he’s come back fresh and enthusiastic,” said Dean.
“He’s also made the switch from wing to centre, with centre being one of the toughest positions to defend in. As a result, Frank will have to make more decisions in games, which could make an impact.
“I was really pleased for Frank last Saturday, but as I said to him – he could have quite easily scored six!”
Storm’s next home game takes place at Brooksby Melton College on Saturday 25th April (2:00pm), where the side take on Oxford Cavaliers in the Conference League South.
